San Lorenzo standout

Few prospects did more for their prep teams than San Lorenzo (Calif.) wide receiver standout Mike Calvin. He totaled 146 yards of total offense per game, and led the Rebels in receiving, scoring, and kicking. Calvin also added 55 tackles and 5 interceptions, and racked up numerous post-season honors.

Calvin was also named the Contra Costa Times number two overall Bay Area Standout on their annual "Cream of the Crop" article - becoming the first San Lorenzo player to ever earn that distinction. Perhaps his most impressive stat was his yards per reception. Despite being the focal point of every San Lorenzo opponent, Calvin still posted over 20 yards per reception.
