ACC makes a final ruling in Markish Jones' case

The roller coaster recruitment of four-star wide receiver Markish Jones took another bizarre turn on Friday.

For months leading up to national signing day, the Spartanburg, South Carolina (Broome HS) native considered himself a Clemson commitment but maintained that Florida State was one of his top schools, if not his outright favorite. So it was a mild surprise when the talented wideout made a public announcement at his school that he was going to be a Tiger on national signing day. He took it a step further and actually filled out and signing his Letter of Intent (LOI) to play for Clemson.

But before that paperwork was ever sent out, Jones had another change of heart and signed a second LOI to play for Florida State. Unlike the LOI to Clemson, the second one was faxed. That looked to be the end of it but Clemson, and apparently Jones, thought differently.
