Sutton talks first visit to Georgia

Defensive end Chaz Sutton has heard a lot about the University of Georgia from fans in the Savannah (Ga.) area over the years. He took a visit up to Georgia for the first time over the weekend for Junior Day and he wanted to see what all those people were talking about. Sutton had some high expectations and it appears that those were not met over the weekend.

"The visit to Georgia was alright," Sutton said. "It was nothing like I expected it to be. So many people had been telling me how people would die to go to Georgia, but I didn't get that feeling."

"I mean, it is a nice place and a good school, but I just didn't see what everyone was talking about."

Sutton said he expected to see more in Athens.

"We didn't really get to see that much. We saw the stadium and the dorms, but that was about it. I thought we would get to tour the weight room, locker room, training area, and that too. I know I had high expectations, but I just expected to see more than I did."

This 6-foot-5, 225-pound defensive end did see a few things he liked at Georgia.

"I liked the dorms a lot," said Sutton. "They were very big and they provided you with everything that you needed. I also liked the academics at Georgia that they showed us. They had a great power point presentation and that was nice."
