Ohio TE Hanna drawing interest

Shaker Heights (OH) tight end Christian Hanna transferred to a new school following his junior season, and is hopeful to have a big senior year.

The 6-3, 235-pound Hanna, who runs a 4.85 40-yard dash, played at Cleveland's Benedictine High School in 2006, where he was part of a one-dimensional offense.

"For my junior year, I was at Benedictine High School in Cleveland. They are typically a Division III powerhouse, but we had an atypical year. We had a 2-8 record," he said.

"I played mostly tight end, but I played one game at guard. We were very heavy run-oriented; we rushed for 2,000 yards, but only passed for about 400 yards. I only had three catches on the year. At Benedictine, we would come off tackle after off tackle, and throw in a sweep. Our pass offense was not sophisticated."
