Edenfield ready to prove doubters wrong

USFBullsEYE.com's Chad Goebert speaks with Bartram Trail offensive lineman Thomas Edenfield, one of the Bulls' key signees in the class of 2007:

USFBullsEYE.com: You were one of the top linemen in the nation after your junior season and then heading into your senior year. Then came the knee injury. Tell us the details of what happened.

Edenfield: We were playing a scrimmage before the season, kind of a useless game; I probably shouldn't have even been out there. I pancaked a guy and then got up and ran downfield to make another block and I stepped in like a hole or a rut in the field and just tore my ACL.

Q: It cost you your senior year. How difficult was that?

Edenfield: It made me want it more, you know? I'm working much harder than I ever did before. I hit the weights really hard and I still am. I'm just dying to get back out there.
