Dotsy discusses recruitment, teammates
With only five offensive linemen signing in the last two classes, and one of those players seeing action as a true freshman, recruiting players for the position is a major area of focus for Michigan in 2008. Getting an early jump in pursing prospects for the line, the Wolverines offered Vaughn Dotsy of Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure in the fall.
At 6-5, 340 pounds, he is a player that has the ability to excel at either guard or tackle spot in college, and recruiters have taken notice of that versatility. Since receiving the Michigan scholarship opportunity, Dotsy has also been offered by the likes of Alabama, Ole Miss, San Diego State, Arizona, and Oklahoma State. For the time being however, he is keeping an open mind to all of the schools that are pursuing him.
