Shugarts benefits from tight end experience
J.B. Shugarts volunteered for the job, and as it turns out his sacrifice for the team may help him immensely in the future. With Klein (Texas) High School in need of a tight end last year, Shugarts raised his hand to help. He played a majority of the season as an unofficial member of the offensive line, but his work at end resulted in an unexpected benefit
A member of the Rivals100 to watch Class of 2008 and the No. 2 prospect in the Houston area by TexasPreps.com, the 6-7, 299-pound Shugarts named his favorites earlier this month, designating Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Florida as his top four.
