South Florida kicker talks recruiting

One of the top kickers in South Florida already has serious college options. Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Cardinal Gibbons kicker Blair Walsh has two early scholarship offers, from Georgia and West Virginia, and is interested in a number of other programs.

The Bulldogs have the early attention of Walsh, who is from head coach Mark Richt's hometown of Boca Raton, Fla.

"I received a scholarship offer from Georgia, they gave it to me over the phone," Walsh said. "I'm researching the UGA program. I know it's a great football program and it's a good school academically, so I have been looking into it. It's an intriguing place. It's very nice. I'd love to visit and get a feel for the atmosphere up there.
