St. Joe's DB enjoys Rutgers Junior Day
Developing a pipeline with a high school program is never an easy accomplishment, but for Rutgers one of their pipelines is even more detailed. Three of the four starting defensive backs this coming season may very well be graduates of Montvale (NJ) St. Joseph's, plus the addition of Robert Cervini as a preferred walk-on only added to this trend. So who could be next? One viable candidate is junior safety Patrick Kivlehan, who attended the Rutgers Junior Day this past Saturday.
Kivlehan, 6-foot-2 and 200-pounds, gave an update on how his recruitment has progressed over the last two months.
Besides Rutgers, Kivlehan is also receiving interest from Boston College, Louisville, Virginia, Connecticut, Northwestern, and Purdue.
