Big three return
Defensive line coach Don Wnek may have saw some experienced players graduate, but the Bears return their top three tacklers.
Gone are the days of M.T. Robinson, Marcus Foreman, Corey Ford, Julian Hill, and Quincy Jenkins, who each started at one point in the Baylor careers. In their place are Jason Lamb, Geoff Nelson, and Vincent Rhodes who have pushed their way into the starting rotation since their arrival.
Lamb led the defensive front with 38 tackles (21 solos) and 5.5 TFLs as a redshirt freshman. He quickly made his way to the top of the depth chart after switching from tight end to defensive end.
His six quarterback hurries were second among defensive linemen, and he quickly became known in the Big 12 as a threat on the pass rush.
On the right end of the line Geoff Nelson returns.
