Five questions for the defense
With the arrival of a new coaching staff comes an endless array of questions for any team during the offseason. Spring practice can provide answers to many of those questions as the players and coaches will come together for the first time in a true football environment. With that in mind, here are the five biggest questions facing the Tide offense as it enters spring practice on Saturday.
5.) Who will step up to fill the vacant secondary spots?
With the departures of safety Jeffrey Dukes and cornerback Ramzee Robinson, the Crimson Tide secondary has two major holes to fill. Dukes and Robinson have been two of the Tide's most productive and reliable defensive backs over the past few seasons and though you can't replace their game experience, there are plenty of talented youngsters ready to step in and fill their shoes.
