White and Thompson a dynamic duo for Teaneck

A college recruiter couldn't ask for a better day. Start at Don Bosco, travel down Route 17 a bit to St. Joseph, cut across a few back roads to Bergen Catholic, and then head towards Route 4 to Hackensack and Teaneck. Five powerhouse schools separated by 21 total miles of roadway - a college recruiter's dream.

The NNJIL recruiting season got off to a quick start this week with the commitment of Teaneck running back Rashad White, who chose Rutgers over offers from Boston College, Maryland, Cincinnati, Syracuse and Pittsburgh.

Teaneck coach Dennis Heck certainly understands why Scarlet Knight fans are excited about the team's first commitment for 2008.
