Brother Rice RB picking up offers

A few things you can usually count on when it comes to Michigan High School football; Brother Rice will be good and they will have a division 1 prospect or two. This coming year should be no different, as the Warriors will look to re-load and challenge for another state title. One of the players who will be leading them this fall is running back Caulton Ray.

Ray is a physical 5-foot-9, 190-pound running back with 4.5 speed. He rushed for over a 1100-yards and scored 11 touchdowns as a junior despite sharing many of the carries with senior tailback Joey Henry. This fall Ray will likely improve on those numbers and could challenge the single season school rushing record held by 2006 graduate and current Cincinnati Bearcat John Goebel.

The past few months have been busy for Ray from a recruitng standpoint. He has offers from Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan. Other interested schools include Northwestern, Miami and Florida.
