Harris is a team player

Tim Harris, the coach at Miami Booker T. Washington, admits it. He held his son, Brandon, back a little bit early on. He did not want to play favorites or be accused of giving anyone preferential treatment. Coaching your son on the football field can be tricky business.

It took some pushing and prodding by Harris' assistant coaches, who told him that his son - Brandon Harris - had incredible athletic ability and that no one would second guess playing him more often. So Harris got his opportunity. He excelled. And now a host of the top programs in the nation are recruiting him.
