Panhandle LB could be a sleeper

Milton (Fla.) linebacker William Beasley could emerge as a sleeper from the Florida Panhandle in the Class of 2008. The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder attended the Rivals.com Atlanta Junior Day last Saturday at Lovejoy High School in Hampton, Ga., and spoke with Rivals.com about his recruitment.

Beasley has yet to pick up his first scholarship offer, but is getting plenty of attention in the form of text messages from a number of programs. LSU, North Carolina State, Alabama, Central Florida and Auburn all have shown interest in Beasley.

Beasley has made an unofficial visit to LSU and believes the Tigers could be close to offering.
