Waco back receiving Big 12 interest

Waco High's running game was key for the Lion's run to the 2006 4A Div. II State Championship game, and junior Jarred Salubi led the way.

The 5-10, 195-pound running back was named 16-4A Offensive Co-MVP and Waco Tribune-Herald Super Centex after going over the 1,000-yard mark for his second straight season.

His on-field performance has attracted attention from Texas Tech, Baylor, Georgia Tech, and Iowa, with two teams showing the most interest so far.
