Carraway planning Michigan visit
Given the strong class of wide receivers that the Wolverines signed a year ago, it has been a surprise to some that Michigan has already offered six players at the position for the class of 2008. One of those prospects to have caught the eye of the Maize and Blue coaches is Laureldale (Pa.) Muhlenberg star Vaughn Carraway.
Standing in at 6-2, 175 pounds, the talented athlete learned that Michigan was offering scholarship a few weeks back.
"My head coach told me," he said. "I was excited - real excited."
At this point, Carraway denies a leader in the process, and is keeping an open mind to all schools pursuing him. However, he explained that the programs that have extended scholarships have caught his attention in the early going.
Carraway has offers from Boston College, Michigan, UConn and Penn State.
