Texas Tech knew that Oklahoma City defensive end Joey Fowler was very interested in their program when he made his second trip to Lubbock this weekend. But Fowler has known for quit sometime that the Red Raiders were strongly fascinated with the 6-foot-4, 260-pound lineman.
On Saturday afternoon, Fowler showed the Tech coaching staff that the interest was mutual, and made his decision known.
There are many schools that will be disappointed to see Fowler done with the recruiting process, including Kansas State who offered the lineman last night. Other schools had been showing interest such as Kansas, TCU, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, LSU, Tulane, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa State, and Colorado State.
