Top JC Receiver is CU's first commit

Colorado has received more immediate help for their receiving corps. Corey Surrency, one of the top JC prospects in the nation, decided to end his recruitment early by making a call to CU staffer Eric Kiesau this morning. Surrency becomes the first commit of the 2008 Colorado recruiting class.

Surrency is ready to get his life back on track in a major way. After dropping out of Miami's South Ridge High School in the 11th grade, he earned his GED. He was later found at a flag football game that eventually landed him at El Camino College last year. It was his first year ever playing organized football.
