Drey wants to stay close to home
McGill-Toolen High School in Mobile, Ala., was good to LSU on Signing Day 2007. Two big time players, athlete Phelon Jones and defensive end Sidell Corley signed on the dotted line and became Tigers. Now the focus is on the 2008 signing class, and LSU will be monitoring at least one more player on the McGill-Toolen roster in offensive tackle Peters Drey.
Drey, who stands at 6-5 and 270 pounds, was in town to watch the Super Tiger Bowl a few weeks back.
Drey said his education is a big priority for him, and schools Vanderbilt, Notre Dame and Purdue are some of his early favorites, along with Auburn and LSU.
