Holton will visit Athens again
Florida defensive back C.J. Holton visited Georgia for the second time in the past six weeks this weekend for G-Day. He arrived early in the morning to visit with the Georgia coaches before watching the Bulldogs spring game. One thing that stood out to Holton was the fans and support at Sanford Stadium. Overall, the visit was a good one and the Dawgs are high on Holton's list.
"Before the game I talked to my recruiting coach (John Jancek)," said Holton. "He just talked to me about Georgia and how they really wanted me and needed me up there. I like talking to him - we talk a lot."
After spending some time with Coach Jancek, Holton traveled into Sanford Stadium for the spring game. He was impressed with the Bulldog Nation.
"The thing that stood out to me the most this weekend were the fans," he said. "I was surprised that so many people got up early, got out in the cold, and came out to watch a scrimmage. That showed me a lot about there support. They were really pumped and into the game too. I liked that a lot."
During the game, he kept his eye on his position.
"I really liked the aggression and the speed to the ball the defensive backs showed. Number nine (Reshad Jones) really stood out to me - he looked good."
"I think I could really bring a new style to safety at Georgia is I went there. I think it would go well with what they already have. I really liked what I saw from that position."
