Parsons makes impact
Defensive tackle Alex Parsons is a relative unknown commodity among USC fans. The 6-foot-4, 285 pound sophomore had a breakout game at the Trojan Huddle and was getting first team reps at practice on Tuesday.
At the Trojan Huddle Parsons worked mostly with the second team defense. Playing in front of 15,000 rabid USC football fans suited him just fine.
"It felt good playing in front of a big crowd," he said. "It was nice and something new for practice."
Parsons made two consecutive big plays for his unit. The first was a sack of John David Booty followed up by an interception on the next play.
