Practice report: Back at Faurot

Missouri held spring practice number nine on Thursday afternoon. Mother Nature finally allowed the Tigers back outdoors for the workout. Here are our observations:

*Chase Coffman returned to practice after missing Tuesday's workout with a hip pointer. Brock Christopher was back as well.

*Colin Brown did not practice. He has a strained knee and Gary Pinkel hopes to have him back by Saturday. Blake May wore a cast on his right ankle and Austin Huff also sat out.

*Punt returners were Jared Perry, Tremane Vaughns, Jeremy Maclin, Tommy Saunders and Marcus Woods, who is now wearing the #3 made available when William Franklin switched to #2. I would imagine Perry will be used there only in an emergency.

*Couple of depth chart notes, though nothing earth-shattering: Jaysen Corbett is ahead of Tarell Corby at defensive end. Charles Gaines is second team at defensive tackle, while Andy Maples is still third.

*During one-on-one passing drills, both starting safeties had interceptions. Cornelius Brown picked off a floater thrown by Chase Patton and William Moore went over the top of Lucas Null for the pick.
