MATTHEWS, (N.C.) - Dwayne Allen, considered one of the nation's elite tight end prospects, committed to Georgia last December. But that hasn't stopped the 6-foot-4, 242-pound standout from Fayetteville (NC) Terry Sanford from checking out the other growing options coming his way.

On Saturday, he unofficially visited an ACC school and Sunday he was in attendance at Butler High School at Rivals.com's Junior Day.

"I just went to (North) Carolina's spring game," Allen told Tigerillustrated.com Sunday afternoon. "I was supposed to visit Clemson, but I don't have the resources to get down there just like I missed out on G-Day (last weekend), cause I didn't have the resources to get down there, as in people to take me."
