Bears go big for 2010

Baylor head coach Scott Drew has always made it a point to find prospect early in their high school careers. Saturday, an early offer to Waxahachie guard Jamison Sterns paid off when the 2010 prospect accepted Baylor's offer.

Tuesday night, Drew received word that another top 2010 prospect, Dallas (Texas) Woodrow Wilson power forward Perry Jones, was ready to commit.

Jones was receiving attention from Stanford, Kentucky, UConn, Texas, Florida, Memphis, and LSU and held an offer from Oklahoma State, but Woodrow Wilson head coach Pat Washington saw the commitment coming even before the Bears began recruiting him.
