Ransburg Enjoyed Spring Game Visit
During his junior season at Harrisonville (MO) High School, Sean Ransburg rushed for 1,300 yards, passed for 1,500 yards and scored 33 total touchdowns. Because of his performance on the field, schools like Kansas, Kansas State and Missouri began to recruit the 6-foot-1, 185-pound athlete. Shortly after receiving a scholarship offer from the Jayhawks, Ransburg put an end to his recruitment by giving a commitment to Mark Mangino. The talented athlete was in Lawrence on Sunday for KU's spring game, and recently spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his visit and final decision.
It's been an unforgettable junior year for Ransburg. Individually, he rushed for 1,300 yards, passed for 1,500 yards and scored 33 touchdowns. Because of his performance on the field, Harrisonville won another State Championship, which happens to be Ransburg's second.
