Habern sees similarities in present and future

Argyle, Texas - In the coaching ranks continuity is an important piece of any successful program, but it's also an underrated element of recruiting for those same coaches. While Oklahoma had many factors working in it's favor during the recruitment of Argyle (Texas) Liberty Christian center Ben Habern there was one advantage that has gone wholly unnoticed.

The 6-foot-3, 270-pound offensive lineman comes from a small community in North Central Texas and has grown up surrounded by a coaching staff who has nurtured him from the time he was in eighth grade.

In fact, with a father that is going on a decade as the school's announcer and two older brothers who played for the same coaching staff it's not hard to understand the tie that binds Habern to head coach Mark Bowles and the rest of his staff.
