Cleary adds second offer

Emmett Cleary traveled roughly 150 miles from Arlington Heights, Ill., to West Lafayette, Ind., to check out Purdue's spring game on Saturday, and the trip was well worth it because he came home with an offer from the Boilermakers.

Purdue became the second school to make an offer to the junior offensive tackle from Arlington Heights (Ill.) St. Viator, joining Northwestern.

All the 6-foot-6, 250-pounder had to do was show up on campus and he passed the eyeball test with flying colors.
