Hunt likes the spread

LSU needs to sign several running backs this recruiting year and with none in Louisiana currently sitting with a scholarship offer, the Tiger coaches are venturing outside of the state. One such prospect is Reggie Hunt of Daphne, Alabama.

"I have been getting letters from LSU," Hunt said.

LSU is currently at a slight disadvantage because Hunt believes he will be most productive in a spread offense.

Hunt stands at 5-10, 185-pounds and runs a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash. He rushed for 1,009 yards and 12 touchdowns in a shortened season due to injury.

"Right now I am looking at Florida, West Virginia, Auburn and LSU too."
