2009 safety has connection to A&M
With one player from the class of 2009 having already pledged a commitment to Texas A&M, it is clear that the Aggie coaching staff is getting a jump on the competition. While Aggie commit Craig Loston is regarded early on as the top safety in the state for 2009, there is another player that could come close to rivaling Loston as far as natural ability.
Broderick Jackson is a 5-foot-11, 188 pound sophomore from the small town of Kirbyville, Texas. The safety prospect would most likely already be a household name had he not moved to the town after his freshman year at one of the largest high schools in the Houston area.
Jerrod Johnson was a teammate of Jackson's while the two were both at Humble.
