Minnesota commit gets new offer

Wide receiver/cornerback Kevan Walker (6-0, 180, 4.4) from Arcadia, Calif., committed to Minnesota earlier in the month of April, but that hasn't stopped other schools showing interest in him or has that stopped colleges from offering. The talented two-way standout received his second offer on Friday Evening.

"Coach Eric Scott offered me on Friday Night," Walker said. "I'm honored that a great school like UCLA like my skills enough to offer me to go there and play.

"I'm still committed to Minnesota and I like them a lot," Walker said. "I like Minnesota's academics and the whole coaching staff. I also like the spread offense that Minnesota is going to run and how I fit in with them.
