Yancich impressed by UConn visit

Before Washington (PA) Trinity linebacker Mike Yancich made his trip to UConn, he talked about how he was looking to meet with head coach Randy Edsall and find out exactly what kind of support staff was in place to meet his needs and those of the other football student-athletes.

The outside linebacker, who holds a scholarship offer, has not yet committed to the Huskies because he does not want to rush the recruiting process. He did say, however, that after the visit, UConn was very high up on a list that also includes Boston College, Michigan State, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Vanderbilt.
