Va. QB takes in BC spring game

Newport News (Va.) Gloucester quarterback Tommy Reamon Jr. was on hand at The Heights for the Eagles' spring game last weekend. It was the 6-foot-2, 195-pound junior's second trip to Chestnut Hill. Although this trip to Boston College did not result in a first offer, it did place the Eagles among the leaders to eventually sign the 2008 signal caller. What stood out for Reamon during his recent visit?

"Overall the environment was really positive," he said. "I got a good impression of the school and the program.

"I'm going back to BC again for their one day camp," he added. "Coach Jags said if I play well then they'd make me an offer.

"They're one of the top schools I'm looking at right now."
