Durham back Douglas has multiple offers

Durham (N.C.) Hillside tailback Gary Douglas was a solid performer at the Shrine Bowl Combine in Snow Hill, and the rising senior claims multiple scholarship offers. Douglas is part of what should be an explosive Hornets offensive backfield in 2007.

Douglas enjoyed a banner year in 2006, teaming with future Tar Heel Greg Little and Tulsa signee Mike Johnson to give the Hornets a potent offensive unit. Hillside produced a 10-3 overall record, shared the PAC-6 Conference title, and advanced to the second round of the NCHSAA 4-A playoffs.
