Something to prove

Everyone knows that Shaker Heights (Ohio) tight end Christian Hanna can block, but this spring he's out to prove that he can run and catch as well.

Hanna played in a run-dominated offense at Cleveland (Ohio) Benedictine last season that limited him to just three catches.

Hanna participated in the Elite Skills Camp at Browns Stadium on May 1, where he ran drills in front of more than 100 coaches from all over the country. He was very satisfied with his performance, considering that many of the skills were new to the 6-foot-3, 235-pounder.

Hanna has yet to attract any offers, but said that coaches from Kent State and Nebraska told him that scholarships could be coming after the spring evaluation is over.
