JUCO LB with three offers

In the California junior college ranks for 2008 is a gem of a linebacker. It appears that schools have started to uncover this gem, however. Glendora (Calif.) Citrus Community College's 6-foot-3, 235-pound Devin Johnson has been hearing from a number of schools in major conferences and has a few scholarship offers to show for the attention. Duck Sports Authority talked with Johnson recently.

During his freshman year at Citrus, Johnson was off to a strong start before an injury derailed his season.

"I had 3.5 sacks, 22 tackles with five for loss, a blocked field goal, two pass break-ups and a forced fumble," he said. "I got hurt and only played four games. I hurt my knee - stained my PCL (Posterior Cruciate Ligament) - but I'm good now."
