Cali LB has options

Outside linebacker prospect Anthony Miller of San Jose (Calif.) Archbishop Mitty has spent his off-season working out with a trainer, and his work seems to be paying off so far. The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder has been receiving recruiting attention from around the West as well as the middle of the country. Duck Sports Authority talked with Miller recently.

He told us about his workout schedule.

"I work out six days. I lift three days and run and do agility drills three," said Miller.

His efforts have helped to improve his 40-yard dash time from 4.84 seconds to 4.72 and his bench press max from 265 pounds to 285.

He's also been hearing from a number of college coaches.

"I have (written) offers from Oregon, Arizona State, Cal, San Jose State and Nebraska," said Miller.

He told us a bit about the offer from Oregon.
