Vols In the Mix With Florida QB

Tennessee isn't in dire need of adding a quarterback to the roster in the 2008 Signing Class, but that doesn't mean that offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe wouldn't like to bring another arm to campus. One early name that has surfaced as a possibility on the quarterback front is Florida prospect Casey Kelly from Sarasota.

Kelly (6-foot-4, 195 pounds, 4.6 40-yard dash) snagged an early offer from Tennessee, and with summer approaching, several other SEC schools have jumped in the race as well.

"Tennessee, Alabama, and Ole Miss have offered, UNC has been showing a lot of interest and Stanford has lately too," Kelly said. "I'm interested in all those schools right now, but I'm really wide open. I don't have a firm list or anything, I'm just seeing who's interested in me and what offers come along.
