FSU looking to Louisiana for TE help

Tight end is an obvious position of need for Florida State in the 2008 recruiting class with the loss of Brandon Warren and Caz Piurowski's decision to move to the offensive line. One player that could help fill that void is 6-foot-4, 240-pound tight end Tyler Edwards from Monroe (LA) Ouachita. Shortly after the spring evaluation period began, Edwards found out just how interested Florida State is in his services.

The recent meeting between Fisher and Edwards isn't the first time the two have have crossed paths. Fisher coached Tyler's brother Eric, currently with the Washington Redskins, back at LSU when he was a two-year starter and part of the Tiger's National Championship team in 2003.
