Obi anxious to don the black and gold

Nine days away from his high school graduation, Conrad Obi is anxious to start the next chapter of his life. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive end from Loganville (Ga.) Grayson was one of the Buffaloes' more highly regarded signees from the Class of 2007.

Once committed to Georgia during his recruiting process, Obi has only two and a half years of organized football under his belt.

The Buffaloes only had four defensive ends on their roster this spring. So needless to say, Obi will have a legitimate chance to see the field as a freshman.
