Chism plays waiting game

Last season defensive backs became a priority for the Syracuse Orange and in the 2008 class the defensive backfield is still an area that needs more depth. The Old Line State has become a place that the Orange have done well in and this year they hope for the same success. One Maryland cornerback that has caught the eye of the staff is Cameron Chism.

Chism, 6-foot-1, 175 pounds, was a first-team all conference player last season as well as honorable mention all state.

Right now Chism has not been to all of the schools who have offered him but he does have a few sitting at the top of his list.

His top five is UConn, Pitt, Syracuse, Maryland and Temple. Nebraska, Notre Dame and Michigan are also interested.
