Rollins' stock is rising

Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna linebacker Tarik Rollins has seen his stock increase over the course of the last couple months, with several more teams jumping on board with scholarship offers for him.

"I think I have 13 or 14 offers now," the 6-foot-2.5, 205-pound Rollins said. "Some of the schools that have offered that I want to visit this summer are Wake Forest, South Carolina, LSU, Clemson, Auburn, Purdue, Michigan State, Indiana and Georgia Tech. It's going to be a busy summer for me."

Rollins, who bench presses 320 pounds, likes several aspects of the Gamecock program.

"Them having one of the best coaches in college football is a big plus for them," he said. "They run an aggressive defense, and that's the way I like to play. I've been talking to coach (Robert) Gillespie and getting to know him a lot better. He came by the school to see me practice this spring. He's excited about getting me up there for camp this summer."
