Bay Area athlete heats up
Athlete prospect Chris Little, Jr., (6-2.5, 217, 4.58) from Oakland (Calif.) Castlemont had an outstanding performance at the NIKE Camp held in Palo Alto. Not only did he perform well, Little definitely passed the look test.
The versatile Little is being recruited for his talents at both wide receiver and linebacker.
As a linebacker, the hard-hitting Little accounted for 45 tackles, five sacks, four fumbles caused, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions.
From his wide receiver position, Little had 37 receptions for 537 yards and 12 touchdowns.
Little earned first-team all-city, first-team all-league honors and was named junior cream of the crop by the Oakland Tribune.
So far Little has three offers from Nebraska, Arizona and Nebraska. Schools such as Arizona State, Cal, Oregon, USC, Idaho and UNLV have been by the school checking out the fast-rising Little out.
