Sooners land second pass rusher

In years past Oklahoma has sometimes struggled in landing the high-profile defensive ends, that trend ended in the class of 2008 as five-star R.J. Washington made his pledge to the Sooners. That trend continued today as Oklahoma picked up a pledge of another highly sought after Texas pass rusher. This time it's Houston Strake Jesuit's David King who has cast his lot with the Sooners.

The 6-foot-5, 238-pound defensive end says he had been feeling like Oklahoma was best for him and with attention piling on him almost daily it seemed the right time to end his recruitment.
