Alabama linebacker to visit USC

Mobile (Ala.) Murphy High School linebacker Jacoby Thomas is coming off one of the most productive seasons in the Yellowhammer State, racking up 124 tackles, six sacks, six interceptions and 15 tackles for loss as a junior. Three teams have taken note of his talents and extended scholarship offers.

"South Carolina, Purdue and Colorado have offered me," the 6-foot, 220-pound Thomas said. "I think Alabama and Auburn are close offering, too."

South Carolina landed cornerback Captain Munnerlyn two years ago from Thomas' school, and they're hoping to do the same with Thomas.
