After the first few days of getting his dormitory room organized with his roommates Charles White, Israel Troupe, and Bruce Figgins, classes began, and so too did the summer workouts.
"On Thursday we were able to work out for the first time," said Curran. "It has been awesome working with Coach Dave Van Halanger and all his guys. We have a real good crew, and even before we started working out, [Van Halanger] gave us a little bit of a motivational talk to give us something to aim for."
