Texas twosome headed to Fresno today

It appears that all the work in Texas in recent months by the Fresno State coaching staff is starting to pay off as RedWaveReport.com caught up with a pair of players from Texas that will take an unofficial visit to the campus today. One such player called us from the airport this morning to let us know he is very interested in the Bulldogs and let us know he will be in town later today with his teammate to check out the environment.

Last year the Bulldogs took to the road in the Lone Star State and landed quarterback Matt Faulkner from Flower Mound (TX) Marcus High School. This year the coaching staff is going back for seconds as they have been scouring the Texas landscape, trying to bring in more players from the football-rich state. Quarterback Billy Noonan and athlete Gino Collins from St. Pius X High School in Houston will visit the campus today and tomorrow in hopes of hooking on with the Bulldogs down the road.
