Banks plays waiting game

One of the top players in the Rivals100 to watch for 2008 was Culver City (Calif.) dual-threat quarterback Darius Banks. The 6-foot-2, 183-pounder with 4.65-second speed in the 40-yard dash was among a select group of signal-callers to make that list following a strong junior campaign. When the first Rivals100 came out, Banks was not included. Duck Sports Authority talked with Banks recently.

Banks said that recruiting life has been a little slow for him lately.

On the recruiting front, Banks holds scholarship offers from Oregon, Toledo, San Jose State, and Kansas State.

Kansas State is currently recruiting him harder than the others.
