In-state WR makes big splash at camp

In town for the 7-on-7 tournament this past weekend, Hanahan wide receiver Brandon Ford showcased his skills, impressing Clemson's staff sufficiently to inch closer to an offer.
"I must have done pretty well, enough for them to look at me harder," Ford told Tigerillustrated.com Monday evening. "Sometime between 2 and 3 o'clock in the afternoon they talked to my head coach (former Tiger football player Jeff Cruce who played on the 1981 National Championship team) and told him that I was going to get an offer."
