Miller carries respect

Last night, San Jose (Calif.) Archbishop Mitty high school prospect Anthony Miller gave Cal fans another reason to be delighted about the burgeoning 2008 Cal football recruiting class. His verbal commitment gave the Golden Bears another talented tight end prospect to develop, and one that Cal head coach Jeff Tedford has to be pumped up about.

After speaking with numerous folks about Miller, it was obvious to see that the Mitty standout has the respect of both his coaches and teammates.

"Mill-Dub is big, strong, and fast," said 2007 Mitty star and future UCLA linebacker Steve Sloan. "He's very athletic, and he's really fast for how big he is."
